Download the latest version of TextExpander

Head to our github releases page (https://github.com/klazorix/textexpander/releases) and locate the latest release. From there, click on the asset Source Code (zip) and wait for the download to finish.
TextExpander is currently built for Windows. All Linux distributions as well as MacOS are completely unsupported at this time.
Locate the downloaded ZIP file in your downloads folder and extract it from the ZIP file. You are now free to move the folder to where you would prefer.
Please do not tamper with the file structure you were provided in the zipfile. Doing so may mess with how TextExpander interacts with it’s debugging, data storage and update handler files.
Some Windows files are protected, and having TextExpander inside these protected directories will require TextExpander to have Administrative permissions in order to access it’s data file.
